2002-2005
I started off as an Admin staff handling all General Insurance sales quotations and documentations for a small company for 3 years. During those 3 years, I've learnt through hard way as there were no one to guide me on what to do for every single case that came in. I was working as a one man show as in I was the only worker after 2 others left. I had to contact the Insurance Companies directly to acquire all information and sometimes getting scolded by the Account Managers as they did not like how I was asking them into details on the coverage as I always want to make sure that my clients are covered fully on what they need. After 2 years of hard work, I managed to run a million dollars sales turnover for the company all by myself. That was when the Account Managers of those Insurance Companies started to encourage me to step out and setup my own Direct account with the General Insurance Association of Singapore (GIAS) to serve clients on my own.
2011 - Present
In year 2011, my long time friend who was also my Insurance Agent at that time decided to setup his own Life Insurance Agency as a Manager and invited me to join him in the Life Insurance Industry besides only running my familiar General Insurance services. I started studying and learning about Life Insurance again at that time and decided that I would like to get into the Life Insurance Industry with the intention to "Help People"! As at that time, I noticed that I have many friends and relatives who had bought Life Insurance but was always complaining about difficulty when they need to make claims. Thus, I decided to learn the correct way and practice the right skills and methods in order to help and assist clients when need arise. There was no best way unless I practice diligently. Always putting myself in the client's shoes is the only way to help them.
Skills
I'm familiar with the different types of Insurance and how they can benefit each and every individual person. The Basic needs of everyone and how it can help them when in need is the most important. I will only recommend the right plans after understanding an individual personally and assisting them wholeheartedly. My mission is to make sure every client is covered with their needs and not just their wants. I will provide my expertise advise when being approached by client telling me what they want but when their needs are not being taken care of yet.
Education
I am always doing my ongoing courses and learning all the new products and also following closely on the industry standards and changes especially in the field of Health and medical cost requirements in Singapore. I also learn from my clients on their concerns and learning new information from doctors. I will always learn and work together with some of my Specialist Doctors friends while sending my clients to get treatment is one way of earning and on how I can help my clients better whenever there is a need.
